Every now and then I will work on this little tribal-looking sketch. I usually get around to it when I travel because it's in my little travel sketchbook. Anyway, it started out as a totally different kind of drawing. I had intended it to look similar to a traditional Scottish rampant lion but then I just didn't like it. So, I changed it to look like a tribal one. Here's what I have so far.

Got me to thinking about lions in Scotland? Where did the Scots and the Brits get the idea of lions back in the heraldry times? I guess if they have monsters in their Loch's, they might also have lions in their jungles.
hey! i know you don't know me and this is random as hell but i have been looking for a tribal rampant lion tattoo, but i just can't find anyone to draw it. out of the ones i've seen yours is closest to what i want so far, so if you really like drawing and stuff and have some spare time would you want to draw my tattoo?
